Rare Frog Mug - Seaham

A wonderful and rare frog mug from Seaham Pottery in the north east of England. Featuring the ditty 'Glide on my Bark' surrounded by an overpainted garland. On the reverse a well coloured transfer of a maritime scene 'O're the Green Sea'

Well potted and very attractive with a finely moulded, grey/black frog inside.

Circa 1840

Approx - 5 inches (125mm) tall.

In very good condition throughout.
